What will you do on your journey with WebBeds?

WebBeds is the world’s fastest growing provider of accommodation distribution services to the travel industry. Our products incorporate distribution APIs, payment integrations, ERP integration, Data Lakes, User Interfaces, and others. Our search API reach peaks of more than 50.000 requests per second, each one consisting of tens or hundreds of hotels, with continued expansion.


In this role you will:

The Head of Global Pricing need to support the business in achieving the business targets by improving conversion while maximizing revenue, distributing the right product at the optimal margin at a global scale.

The above mission requires a close relation and effective communication between product, contracting, sales, marketing, BI, Data and the technical optimization departments within regions.


Key elements to this role include, but not limited to:

  • Short and long term pricing strategy definition, by coordinating tactical actions through campaigns and margin adjustments within regions, maintaining competitiveness and ensuring that WebBeds target margins are met.
  • Identification of key pricing inputs to incorporate into the pricing strategy definition.
  • KPIs definition and monitorization to constantly evaluate the strategy and tactical actions, ensuring goal achievement and redefine the strategy in the face of potential deviations.
  • Maximize the available human and technical resources to get the greatest outcome. Enhance teams’ strengths to get focused on strategic tasks and automate simpler and more repetitive tasks reducing human intervention.
  • Lead and coordinate volume generation and revenue maximization initiatives and projects, involving the required technical and business stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain close relation and persuasive communication between product, purchasing and sales departments across all WebBeds Regions.
  • Establish departmental processes and control mechanisms to ensure that implemented strategies meet business targets.
  • Freedom and willingness to travel throughout the allocated region and trade events as per business demand.
  • Supporting growth in TTV production more than EUR 100 million, and corresponding margin contribution.
  • 1 – 5 Direct reports.
  • Achieve KPIs set by the company at TTV, margin and profit level.
  • YOY Trading performance: Booking growth, sales growth revenue growth.
  • Improve market share and direct business with less dependency on third party connectivity product.
  • Team Management (When Applicable:  Maintain the team effectively organized and motivated in a harmonious way.


The skills we would love to see in your suitcase!

  • Fluent in English (Any other European Language is an advantage).
  • Knowledge and comprehensive previous experience of working as a Revenue, Pricing (or equivalent)  role within the travel industry.
  • Knowledge and experience of wholesale/online travel/ecommerce.
  • Knowledge and experience of pricing and inventory management.
  • Experience and understanding of API/XML technical integrations.
  • High level of Microsoft excels and office package.
  • Analytical skills to track metrics and ensure delivering success and targets compliance.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Availability and flexibility to travel.
  • Professional, credible, confident, and enthusiastic.
  • Proactive and results driven, delivering on commitments.
  • Proven track record of meeting deadlines and working under pressure.
  • Organized and able to balance the demands of several activities.
  • Ability to produce and analyse accurate reporting.
  • A work ethic that commits to the task until the goal is exceeded.
